The English Grammy-winner rock band originally released their thirteenth studio album on September 7, 1987, via EMI Records. Produced by Bob Ezrin and David Gilmour, it was the first Pink Floyd album recorded without founding member Roger Waters, who departed in 1985. The album was a commercial comeback for the band, reaching number three in the UK and US.
